Hi! I'm Shannon. I'm passionate about middle grade books and host the Middle Grade Matters podcast that features interviews with middle grade authors and publishing professionals.​

I'm also a writer, and my debut middle grade, My So-Called Christmas Movie, is being published by Sourcebooks in Fall 2027, with a companion novel to follow. It's been a long journey to get here, and I'll be sharing more about that on the Podcast as well as in my Newsletter. ​​​

I grew up in Florida but now live in Atlanta, Georgia with my three kids, three dogs, and one very shy cat. My (awesome) agents are Christa Heschke and Daniele Hunter at McIntosh and Otis.
